It’s been a week of “and then’s”.
And then J got a sinus infection.
And then we went camping.
And then we drove to Chicago.
And then I got a sinus infection.
And then I documented one of the most beautiful weddings EVER for two people I adore, some UNBELIEVABLE couples and two ever-so-precious-I’ve-never-laughed-so-hard-in-my-life families.
And then my feet hurt. A lot.
And then I was so exhausted I couldn’t keep going.
And then I just wanted to be home.
Yep. It happened. But the good news is – it’s been an epic adventure. And…we’ll be home in 2 days.
There are so many posts waiting in the wings, but for this moment, I wanted to share some of my favorite memories with you from our time in Buffalo. We had to visit our favorite ice cream place multiple times, but this visit? Awesome-ness happened.
PS: If you find yourself within 100 miles of Buffalo, you simply must go to the best ice cream/custard place ever, Anderson’s. Uh-MAZING. Trust me.
It seems like my kids don’t trust us around their ice cream…
PPS: All of y’all who have been so sweet to follow this journey, send us encouraging texts, FB posts, and even just tell us when we see each other – THANK YOU. You’ve kept us going. For a while there, it felt a little lonely and hearing you were out there cheering us on or getting those texts and posts – well – it has meant the world to us. We’re so grateful for you. Thank you for being AWESOME. You helped make this epic journey happen.
And to all my sweet clients along the way – the moments you’ve allowed me to be a part of – the ways you let your guard down and gave me YOU – I’m speechless. Floored. And I’ve got a computer full of images that LITERALLY TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. Thank you. Each of you have taught me so much and left me with a deeper sense and appreciation of why I do what I do. I love you all…
And to all of you who have housed us, fed us and loved us along the way? THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. This trip would never have been possible without your graciousness and generosity. Thank you to the moon and back.
