timelines and such…

It’s official.

In slightly less than one month, I will be putting down my camera so that I can hold a new baby boy.  (And then I’ll put down said baby boy and probably take an overwhelming amount of pictures of him…)

So with that said, I did want to put a little reminder out there to all my precious Chicago/west suburban client-friends and future client-friends:

I only have two sessions left during before I go on maternity leave.  If you would like to set up a session, email me at amy@amypphotos.com

On Monday I will be announcing a new type of session that I will be offering…  And I could not be more excited!!!!!  (Yes…this merits at LEAST 5 exclamation points)

As of June 20th, I will be going on maternity leave.  And if this baby cooperates with me – he’ll make his appearance June 27th or 28th…  Right after we shoot our last wedding before the baby!  (PS: I cannot wait for this wedding.  You will LOVE this couple.)

As long as all goes as currently planned – our family will move to Atlanta, GA at the end of the summer.  And then my little girl will start KINDERGARTEN.  Seriously.  Oh.my.goodness.

Starting in September I will be telling the stories of people based in and around Atlanta and anyone who would like to visit…

(We also get to fly to DC and document the wedding of one of the COOLEST couples ever.  Yes, I will swoon.  And then we have the privilege of documenting a wedding in Atlanta that I may cry through because my heart adores these two beyond measure.)

So…here are some answers to some frequently asked questions:

1.  Will you still be documenting weddings in Chicago?

You betcha!  We love Chicago and the people here.  And we are HONORED to be asked to come back.  We already have two weddings over the summer booked for here and we are absolutely open to others.  So…if you’re engaged and you’re interested in having us enjoy the privilege of documenting your day – we would LOVE to hear from you…  You can email me at amy@amypphotos.com

2.  Will you offer any more sessions in the Chicago area?

There may be some occasions when we will be in town shooting weddings that we may have a few openings.  Stay tuned to the blog for those announcements!

3.  What’s your favorite color?

Blue.

If you think of any other fun questions that you would like to have answered – just let me know!  In the meantime, I’ll be smiling as I edit pictures from the awesome people who have been in front of my camera.  (And growing a ginormous belly…)

And since posts are more fun with pictures, here’s one of my favorites from a recent senior session.  And oh how I adore this lady…
