kristin and kevin

I squealed. Audibly.

Upon reading her email and hearing all the exciting news I knew nothing could keep me from coming back to Wheaton again to document their engagement.

Because…well…they’re amazing. Gracious. And just plain awesome.

It all started in high school. When tutoring turned into ice cream dates which turned into long conversations which turned into love. It all added up. Even when calculus didn’t.

I asked Kristin and Kevin to tell me a little bit about why they love each other in preparation for our shoot. Their descriptions? Perfect. This is what Kristin had to say about Kevin:

I love Kevin’s sense of humor. We laugh SO hard. There have been so many times where I honestly thought I was going to throw up from laughing. I love his patience. I don’t have much- and I so admire his easygoing and understanding ways. I love our history and that we have SO many memories from different stages of our lives to look back on together. I love his unwavering faith and the way he always reminds me that things will turn out exactly as they should. I love that he is such a good listener- because I have soooo much to say! The list could just go onnnnnnn and on and on. He’s the best!

And when I asked Kevin what he loves about Kristin, this is what he had to say:

Her great sense of humor and silly side
Her strong faith
She’s a hard worker and won’t let me lazy- she makes me a better person
Her awesome dance skills
Her love for children
Her family
Her thoughtfulness and creativity
She is the most social/personable/talkative person I know
And her looks duhhhh

I’m sure I’m missing about 1000000 other things I love about Kristin but here are the ones that are on my mind at this moment

Kristin and Kevin, I cannot thank you enough for giving me the privilege of laughing, smiling and squealing more than I have in such a long time. All because the two of you are a gift. To each other. And EVERYONE you meet. I love you two to pieces and couldn’t be more excited for you to be married!!!
