buy one, GIVE ONE

“She even lost her wedding photos.”

I read those words and I just knew…I had to do something.  I can’t give her back her wedding pictures.  But I can give her the gift of a session and document now.  This love that’s carried through losing everything.  And if we can find her a wedding dress – heck – we’ll make it happen.

Hurricane Sandy destroyed a lot.  It showed us beauty and pain and what’s most important and a lot more.  Many people lost everything.  Or a lot of things.  Or even one some thing.

At times, I feel overwhelmed by it all. But there is something, even if it’s a small thing, that I can do.  And you can be a part of, too.

For the rest of the year, every session you book will also “give” a session to a person affected by Sandy.  Not only do you get to capture your beautiful moments, you are giving that gift to someone else as well.

I am currently working to organize a group of amazing photographers to go and give sessions to people who lost so much.  We cannot give them what they’ve lost, but we can give them the beauty of who they are to have and hold and post anywhere they want.  Of course, we need to find the funds to get us there.  Enter the buy one, give one session.

If you’d like to book a session, I would be honored.  I have special times I’m opening up on December 1 and December 8.  Email me at for more information.  I cannot wait to tell your story…and know that your story helped tell someone else’s.
