It’s time.

Maybe you’ve been waiting…debating…contemplating…but still putting it off.  It’s an easy thing to do.

Because timing isn’t perfect.  We haven’t reached our target weight.  We don’t have this or that.  Things just aren’t ‘right’.

Well…they never will be.

But…your life?  It IS beautiful.  And it’s worth celebrating.  And it’s worth not having it all together and being overwhelmed by the unbelievable beauty of your imperfection.

The other day I totally had that “I want pictures with my newest little man, but…”  My list of excuses was filled with concerns about my weight, a lack of clothes that fit and my sometimes unmanageable hair.  (Though my hair rocks solely thanks to the most incredible stylist/colorist EVER.  Ivy…I love you.  You work miracles…)  But I sat there convicted.  These moments fly by.  And I won’t get this moment back.  Who cares if I don’t look perfect?  I want to remember this time FOREVER.  I want my kids to have pictures with their mommy.  I want them to walk around this house and SEE how loved they are.  I want to have reminders around my home of this beautiful time.  With my heart (and my hands) so full..

So consider yourself called out: it’s time to go ahead and do those pictures you’ve been thinking about.  Whether it’s with me or with someone else.  DO IT.  Don’t let any more time go by.  We don’t get these moments back…

 

With all of that said, I am announcing my September sessions…

Love Story Sessions…

It’s your love story: told by you; captured by me.  It’s a time to remember why you first fell madly in love.  It’s a time to reconnect.  It’s a time to stop everything and remember why you are so blessed to have married or soon marry this person.  It’s a time to see how far you’ve come and dream of your future.  It’s a time to fall in love all over again.

 

Intimate Sessions…

A chance to capture your beauty in a more intimate way for your husband (husband-to-be).  Here’s what a few of my clients have said about these sessions:

What surprised me most about my session with Amy was absolutely how much FUN I had!  By the time I walked out the door, I felt empowered, confident and beautiful!  To be honest, I felt nervous and a little intimidated by the whole thing.  Those feelings QUICKLY faded because Amy has the gift of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable and, seriously, like a super model.  She communicates easily, allows for plenty of laughter, and conveys absolute trust the entire time.  This session was all about celebrating my greatest treasure: my marriage.  I felt Amy’s JOY in celebrating with me.

I would have to say that the session made me feel incredible about myself as a new type of woman. My body has been transformed from having my son and I felt like I lost my sexy! I looked at my pictures and felt it again. I also know that my honey is going to look at them and feel like he has the most beautiful and empowered woman and courageous for taking that step and being vulnerable. I don’t feel like I would have done it if it were not for the kind of person behind the lens. I’m excited to look at myself and see how great I can look even after not hitting the gym crazy style due to a busy almost 2 year old.

 

And on September 10th I will be offering mini-sessions…

A mini-session is you (and possibly your family or some great friends) + me + laughter + a whole lot of amazing-ness…all in 30 minutes.  These sessions will take place at Herrick Lake.  (Unless you’re the first person to set up your session and we pick a different location…)

Times available:

2:30, 3:15, 4, 4:45 pm

 

I look forward to freezing time with you and celebrating THIS very beautiful moment.  And again – even if I’m not the right photographer for you – STOP PUTTING OFF THIS MOMENT.
